Alana Underwood

Principal Podiatrist / Clinic Owner

Alana gained a Bachelor of Health Science in Podiatry in 2003 at Queensland University of Technology. She has also recently completed her Masters of Sports Medicine from the University of Melbourne in December 2023. This higher level degree has allowed her to become more up to date with the latest research and treatments, and lead to better outcomes for her patients.

 

Alana’s special interest is in sports podiatry which incorporates stretching, strengthening and foot mobilisation techniques along with orthotic therapy when necessary. Alana also enjoys all other facets of the podiatry profession and truly takes pleasure in helping people reach their full potential without pain.

Holly Wilcox

Senior Podiatrist

Holly completed a Bachelor of Health Science in Podiatry at Queensland University of Technology in 2006 and brings extensive experience in managing a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions. She has worked across multiple clinical environments on the Sunshine Coast, developing a well-rounded and practical approach to patient care.

Holly is passionate about delivering patient-centred, evidence-informed treatment, tailoring plans to suit each individual’s needs and lifestyle. She has a special interest in nail and skin care, ingrown toenails, diabetic foot assessments, musculoskeletal conditions, orthotic therapy, and footwear advice.

Outside of the clinic, Holly enjoys spending time with her husband and children, who are actively involved in nippers and surf lifesaving.

Hannah Oong

Senior Podiatrist

Hannah completed her Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine at Western Sydney University in 2020, where she was elected Vice President of the Podiatric Medicine Association. After working in Sydney for several years, she has recently relocated to the Sunshine Coast to continue her podiatric practice.

As a podiatrist, Hannah is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. She works closely with each individual to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their specific goals, ensuring a compassionate and personalised approach to foot health. Hannah has a particular interest in treating ingrown toenails and providing dry needling therapy, always with a focus on enhancing the overall well-being of her patients.

Outside of her podiatry work, Hannah is a devoted disability support worker, committed to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities through compassionate care and support.

Lyn Cooke

Patient Services & Footwear Coordinator 

 

Lyn brings a wealth of experience in front-of-house reception roles, having worked across podiatry, chiropractic, and a range of allied health practices. She first joined Sports and Structural Podiatry in 2005, becoming a familiar and trusted presence for patients and is a valued member of our team.

Vicki Burchell

Patient Communications & Digital Coordinator 

 

Vicki has been an integral part of Sports and Structural Podiatry for over thirteen years. Prior to this, she gained several years of experience in both specialist medical and allied health reception roles. She is a highly valued member of our team, known for her dedication and experience.
