Don’t let your private health go to waste!
We’re fast approaching the end of the year!
Did you know that several private health insurance funds ‘reset’ their benefits at the end of December each year?
If you have Extras Cover, your fund could allocate a certain amount for podiatry services and products through rebates. However, if you do not use this whole benefit amount in a year, it does NOT roll over – it’s gone for good!
Health Insurance funds understand that by providing Extras Cover for customers, they’re helping to prevent longer-term injury and illness – saving themselves (and yourself) money and time.
We also understand this at Sports and Structural Podiatry – we see many people for maintenance or preventative treatment, and rebates can cover podiatric products like orthotics and laser treatment.
Here are some examples of what you can use your health insurance for before the end of December:
- You’ve downplayed pain in your foot for a while and it’s not going away. Now is the time to get it checked.
- You wear orthotics and find it such a hassle changing them from shoe to shoe. Now is the time to get that second pair.
- You have diabetes and require a yearly foot check-up. Now is the time to book that!
We have a HICAPS facility, so you can claim your rebate on the spot (depending on your level of cover). You can book online or call our team on (07) 54791211, we’re here to help! So put your health insurance to good use and make sure you’re in good nick to get through the new year.
